Real estate has been my passion since I was 14 years of age. My introduction to the industry was with my father’s brokerage, established in 1969. This is where I developed my foundation of knowledge in land development, new construction, and existing home sales. I worked summers helping my father build homes. Learning from my dad was always challenging yet entertaining. I gained a real appreciation for hard work and the rewards that a strong work ethic yields.
I obtained my real estate license at the age of 19. I was a natural with all of my first-hand experience and knowledge about building homes. When I was 21, I left the family business and went to work for Andrews Dickinson and Pinkstone, the leading real estate company in the region, which Weichert real estate professionals then purchased. I had the good fortune of learning from a 15-office company and then a company with 225 offices; an invaluable experience. In 1988, I returned to the family business and stayed for 14 years managing my dad’s office and partnering with him to develop and build over 200 homes and building sites.
In 2002 I realized that I was more interested in marketing homes than building them, so I joined Fox and Roach real estate professionals. I currently live in Kennett Square, and I have 5 children. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy collecting Andrew Wyeth Art, playing golf and tennis, and playing one of my 11 guitars almost every day. I have many blessings, but the most precious gift is my children, and I spend as much time with them as I can. Real estate has been my passion since I was 14 years of age.
